⚬ Zero Waste ⚬
The problem of textile waste
The fashion industry is one of the largest contributors to global waste, with large volumes of fabric discarded during both production and consumption. Much of this waste ends up in landfill, often made from synthetic materials that cannot break down naturally.
Reducing waste at the design stage is one of the most effective ways to lessen this impact.
Zero- waste pattern making
Many of our garments use zero-waste or low-waste patterns, where pattern pieces are arranged to use the entire length and width of the fabric.
This approach draws inspiration from traditional garments like kimono and saree that were historically designed to make full use of precious materials.
Materials and end of life
Working primarily with natural materials means that any minimal waste that remains can return safely to the earth. Where possible, offcuts and threads are composted
