Sustainability is at the heart of Child of Society. It shapes how we think, make, and exist within the world around us.

We look to longstanding ways of working rooted in care, respect and connection for land as a guide for how we practice today. By learning from a past where humans lived more harmoniously with their environment, we aim to reduce our impact in the present.

Our approach is thoughtful and ever evolving, designing with waste in mind, working with surplus and readily available materials, and prioritising the use of naturally derived materials that will return safely to the earth. We believe in sharing knowledge, encouraging a deeper understanding of the impact that clothing and objects have over their lifetime.
